She felt for the lock in the dark. But there was no lock. The last thing she remembered was strolling down the deserted town street on her way to meet up with Jabu. Now she was cold, alone and in the dark. Was this a nightmare?


Aya felt pain all over her body. She tried pulling herself up. She couldn’t. So she just lay there. She was trying to figure out how she got herself into such a situation. The pain stopped her from thinking clearly. She passed out again.


The door violently swung open! Aya woke up. A male figure was standing by the door. He didn’t say a word. He just stood there and stared at her. Then he left. As she was trying to make sense of what just happened- he appeared again. This time, he walked towards her. Her heart beating fast and sweat pouring out, Aya was scared.


As the man approached her, she

couldn’t believe her eyes. Her captor was her beloved Jabu! Their eyes met, but neither said a word…
